Quilt Retreat Thyme November 2023 Retreat

Welcome Quilters.
Just think, in just a few sleeps we will be quilting in a large room overlooking the St. Lawrence.

Right now we are busy preparing for a weekend filled with friendship, quilting, demos, games, great food and lots of laughter. Enjoy three days and two nights. (Sewing room location is first come, first serve. No road rage on the 401. Travel safely!)  

CHECK-IN Friday, 11:00 am (please bring lunch, our plan starts at dinner). Upon arrival, check-in with the main desk. Please note that room check-in is in the mid-afternoon Friday. Proceed to the elevator to the Sewing Room to set up your quilting station. Each quilter has a 6’ table. Mini irons are allowed. Karen will bring 1 larger ironing board, 1 large iron, 2 large felt pressing mats and two mini irons. Please email kmagee5@sympatico.ca if you have questions. 
Suggestion: Bring at least three projects to work on. Best to have them cut and ready to go. Please bring something for Show and Tell as well.

The Welcoming will begin when everyone has arrived. Wine and cheese at 5 pm. 

Breakfast is at 7:30 am. Lunch is at 12:00 pm. Both are buffet. Dinner is at 5:30 pm. Friday and Saturday night you will have 3 entree choices. (If you have something Christmasy to wear, please bring for Saturday evening as well).

CHECK-OUT  room check-out is Sunday at 11:00 am.  

DEPARTURE is Sunday at 4 pm.
