Welcome Fall Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather.

Proud day last week, my quilting peeps made generous donations to the breakfast program. The sweet young teachers (boy they get younger all the time) really appreciated it, so Peach Fest was a success.

Sorry we are no longer having day to day openings. Busy with day to day happening. Retreat, retreats. 

Next Big Event Apple Fest! Thursday, September 26, Friday, September 27, Saturday, September 28 10:00 am till 4:00 pm -Pop up tent up -Bins are full of lots of specials -Destashing storage -New items appearing -Books marked 50 to 70% off -Lots of fabric marked as low as $6.00 to $12.00 per metre -Apples bagged with patterns so don't forget the Breakfast program for school children

 

Non-perishable Food Ideas for Donations: - Rice cakes - Rice Crackers - crackers such as Triscuit; wheat thins; Ritz; Soda - snack bars such as nutrigrain bars and bear paws (nothing with chocolate chips, or icing of any kind) - goldfish crackers - animal crackers -fruit cups and unsweetened applesauce - cereal such as Cherrios (the plain ones), Chex and Shreddies (they will make snack bags with the cereal) - breadsticks - they can always use things Iike plastic spoons, napkins and ziplock bags They cannot serve anything with chocolate chips, chocolate or yogurt icing. The foods must be low in sugar and meet nutritional standards.  I have not included any juice boxes as generally they serve water in the program as any juice they could serve needs to be 100% fruit juice. 

 

Oct. and Nov. Retreats full so looking forward to the fun sharing and laughter. Plans being made for some day retreats but I need time to work on website. Stay tuned for more exciting news.
